I have used these leashes for years. Versatile, strong and easy on the hand.

I love the quality and weight of this leash. I have a malinois/GSD mix who is a recovering puller. This lead is so comfortable to handle and has so many options, plus I think my dog is more aware of his radius because it is heavier. I use it for any walks that we go on and sometimes attach it to long lines because this one is so much easier to grip. I've had it for about 8 months now & it doesn't even look worn. I've had more expensive leashes and still go back to this one.

I was looking to replace my European style leash that I use with my service dog. Petguys.com had the leash at a great price. When it showed up it was a better quality than the more expensive one I was using. The leash was thick and the hardware good. I couldn’t have asked for more.

I trust the other excellent reviews and this was a gift. Was looking for 1 leash for walking as well as be able to tie up. This will enable the dog to watch my grandkids play basketball in the driveway.

This is the perfect leash. This is the only leash we have used for ten years. We are pets owners, kennel owners and trainers. Various breeds, various tasks and venues. I HIGHLY recommend the nylon. It dries quickly. Only reason we always have to buy more ( three at a time)?? Chewing puppies and family members steal the new ones!! LOL ( And yeah, we give them as gifts to other envious dog lovers who have never seen them in action!)

I've been buying these for years and I hope they're always available! They wear as a typical nylon leash, but I love the flexibility of the double clasps and options for different lengths. I highly recommend them! and the 5/8" is plenty big for both my 35 pound border collie and 55 pound mix...

These are to replace the well loved still good but looking a little ragged 20 year old ones we have. I bet these will last the next 20 years.

I have been using these leashes exclusively since 2001 when I found my first pup at a shelter while traveling through Deming NM. Since then I have never looked back. With this leash you can easily tether a dog to a tree or a pole because of the savvy configuration of the sturdy metal rings. You can easily secure two dogs with just one leash, which can come in handy if you happen to encounter a rattlesnake on the trail for instance. They are high quality and easy to clean. When I wash them by hand in the sink they look like new again. Because I have 5 dogs and mostly hike with them off leash on nature trails, I need to carry only three of these leashes to deal with any problem that might arise.

This European lead works better than the Gentle leader I tried because it doesn't rub the skin off my dog's delicate snout. She no longer pulls when we walk....finally....yippee!!!! I recommend it when used with a special harness that has a loop in the front and on the back.

High quality (material and hooks), cool colors, and much cheaper than I've seen this belt anywhere else!

I train dogs for a living and have been looking for a leash like this for a long time that is affordable but well made. I absolutely love this leash. It is fabulous for all purposes and you can actually get years of use out of it.

Love the concept, but this leash is too short for me! Trying to walk the two dogs on it just wasn't fun. I found a longer, more colorful option on the wonder walker site. 7 or 8 feet long, and much more colorful! Yeah, it costs more, but I know it's made in the US. This is my second purchase of a European leash, and although I was happy with the first one, this is even better - stronger leash and stronger clasp, and it is more colorful (I got the blue).

I am a fairly large lady up top :-) and am plus sized overall. At 5'6, it still fits me with room to spare. Honestly have not found another to do this. Seems like great quality so far, and for the price, you just can't beat it.

I LOVE this lead. I've had a leather one for many years and now have a second one in nylon. Besides being very sturdy, it is the most practical leash I've ever used. I mostly use it as an across-the-body hands-free leash. I have one of these for each of my dogs and just loop both leads over myself and they both walk next to me without my having to hold the leashes in my hand. So convenient! Sometimes I need to "park" my dogs outside a store and this makes it so easy because of the clips - I can hitch them around any fixed object quickly and easily. I highly recommend this to every dog owner!

I am originally from Germany and have used this type of leash all my life. I was delighted to find this leash made by Hamilton here in the US. The material and stitching is durable and lasts a long time. A great leash for a great price.

I love the European leash with my three retired racing greyhounds because, when I bend over to pick up after one of them, there is no way I will drop a leash and have a dog wander off. If you know anything about sight hounds, you know they can see better than you and are way faster than you. Off leash is frequently a tragedy, rarely a joyous occasion. I also love the wide selection of colors offered by Petguys.com because I can have a different color leash for each dog.

A great leash for training dogs and for use with clinics that need the use of both hands. We are a service dog training center for medical alert dogs : we are issuing these leashes to our clients with their service dog. This is a great tool and can be used by a variety of handlers. It is a good tool for a handler that might be physically compromised and can't use their arm fully or has should issues.

I recommend this leash to my dog training clients because, in addition to the multiple ways in which this leash can be used because of its design, it is a very comfortable and durable leash. Because of its double layer, it provides long-lasting and sturdy use. I have several of these that are years old and stil in almost perfect condition. The material is softer than many other nylon leashes, so it is easier on the hands during the period of time when dogs are learning to walk appropriately on a leash. And, of course, the fact that multiples adjustments can be make for length, over-the-shoulder use, and even walking two dogs, it is very versatile.

I found this being used by a client in a local pet store. My dgtr and son-in-law are in Germany in a very dog friendly country. It looked like a great idea but the store no longer carries them. After much search on line I finaly found it and they think it is a great idea and look forward to my sending it to them this week. Theire golden retriever goes every where with them.

I can't beleive I am so excited over a leash, but this is a great product at a great price. I bought 2 of them for my Wheaten Terriers. It works great as a 2 dog leash, tie out and training leash. I take my dogs to different locations to train. When I am working with one dog I attach this leash to a pole or fence and I can work with the other dog. They take turns and it works out just fine. I also have used it with the larger dog as an over the shoulder leash. Great to train or just walk hands free.

I love this leash. This is my third European leash (i.e. clips on both sides that can be attached to two dogs). And this is my favorite. It is thick but smooth, and easy to use.

I had a leash similar to this 6 years ago, and I have been looking for another one for months. I am so glad I finally found this one. It is very convenient and fun to use. It is adjustable and can be a 5' leash, 3' leash, or a leash that can be hands free worn over your shoulder. I use it alot over my shoulder when I go on long walks with my dog. To use it over your shoulder you would need a medium sized dog or larger. I also have used this leash during obedience class with my puppy. I can adjust it to 3' for healing, and then adjust it to 5' for teaching stays. It is very sturdy and comes in lots of colors. I might order more in other colors.

This is a versatile leash. Feels solid in the hand so you know it will not fail. Only drawback is that is shows wear over time.

I've used leashes like this before and needed to replace a few older ones. These are very nice leashes. Soft, thick and durable. I love the flexibility and the hands free, over the shoulder feature is awesome. The colors were bright and rich (we got a red and a wine one). Got this on recommendation of our trainer as a running leash. Still training the dog on using it for that purpose, but the leash is nice, versatile, and very sturdy. I can use it long as a regular leash or hooked for the no-hands over the shoulder. The over the shoulder gives the dog no room to sniff, very close to your leg, so I guess proper healing spot. My dog prefers to be a bit a head of me so we are still working out how to walk side by side without me tripping on her when it is used as the no-hands position. Good training tool & quality leash. Priced lower than local store including the shipping costs.
