Perfect. Does what they are supposed to do. Water clear as crystal. I also use a whisper filter on the back of aquarium and turn off to feed fish. If I forget to turn outside filter back on then the Penn-Plax undergravel filter keeps water sooooo clear. These cartridges really do the job well. I change these cartridges once every month.
