My little Skamp would play fetch 24 hours a day if he could! And he LOVES "squeaking". The squeaking is tolerable but he pops a hole in these so fast that the squeak doesn't make it more than a half hour. That is fine with me but he loves the squeak! Once the squeak is gone he likes squishing the ball in his mouth BUT the little squeaker comes out quite easily so I always keep the balls out of reach when I'm not home with him to play. When we are playing and the squeaker pops out, being the good boy he is, he always brings the squeaker to me so I can throw it away and then we continue play! I'd rate this a 5 because of the joy it brings him, but they fall apart quickly so I give it a 3.
Pros
- Size, Squeak, how much my little guy loves playing with it!
Cons
- Once a hole is punctured into the ball the squeaker dies (for us it's in about 15 minutes or less). Ball loses shape once it's been "squished" in pups mouth a few times (the seam around the middle that holds the ball together cracks under the felt). When the ball looses it's shape the squeaker is easily dislodged from the ball so you have to watch (find the small hole & pull it out with tweezers). If you want something stronger than doesn't squeak try Tuff Balls. Indestructible.
