I've fed my birds, Quaker Parrots, (and a Parrotlet that I had for 9 years), Volkman's Parrotlet mix, their entire lives, nearly 14 yrs. Both are healthy as can be. I deal with the Pet Guys because their prices are fair and shipment is fast. I highly recommend them!

Healthy tasty seeds. He does not pick and choose just his favorites which is great because I’m assured he is getting all the nutrients from each type of seed. Some parrots get picky with certain seed mixes and that is not good. This should give a pet owner cause for concern in the choice of seed.

Item I can’t find anywhere else, shipped quickly and packaged well.

I've been feeding this parrotlet food to my little guy ever since I got him 2 yrs. ago. The only thing I have to complain about is the way my order was packed. I bought 4 bags of parrotlet food, 1 bag of dove food, dog calming chews and dog itch wipes. This was all stuffed in one rather small box and it broke in half during shipping. USPS carried it to my door in a bin and knocked at my door to ask me if everything that I ordered was there. It was, but from the weight of everything that I ordered, it should have been either in a larger, stronger box or in 2 boxes. No matter where the break happened, it was going to happen somewhere. So I do not blame USPS. It was just too much weight for the box.

This is the only food I feed my parrotlets. I have ordered it from Amazon in the past because my local pet store doesn't carry it and the bird vet I use is an hour away so it isn't a convenient place for me to shop. Since Covid, the price on Amazon has more than doubled!!!! I got two bags, including shipping, for less than the price of one bag on Amazon. It arrived in a few days. I will definitely use this shop again.

This was a last minute order. My regular supplier gave a delivery estimate that was unrealistic. The seed was received in less than a week. Most importantly, the packaging was in tact. I have often received packaging that has ruptured in transit. And the price was significantly less expensive than my regular supplier.

I exclusively use Volkman for my parrotlets. I've tried several other brands in my 20+ years of pet birds. This is the same or better quality as the bigger, well known brands.

Try everything to feed my parrolet. this is the best balance diet I've seen that has all the nutrients for his color and to maintain his diet.

You will not find this food for this price anywhere else. Finches loved and devoured it.
