Very good quality and variety at a good price. My only complaint is the Walnut shells! Watch out, some of the edges are sharp if you're grabbing handfuls of nuts to put in a smaller bag etc. There aren't enough to dissuade me from buying again (and again etc...) We feed 4-6 squirrels, blue jays, cardinals, doves and a bunch of crazy crows daily. They love this blend. I did rinse it under water, due to a few picky squirrels! We will definitely order again. Thank you.

Squirrels shouldn’t eat peanuts or corn (fortunately this has no corn). Peanuts are more prolific because they’re also cheaper. This has a variety of nuts and is made specifically for squirrels and chipmunks. Have no idea where they get the nuts from or if they are free of pesticides/pollutants. Just wish they weren’t so expensive…This 4 lbs. gets mixed in with other cheaper critter food so birds can participate as well…

We have ordered these nuts for the many squirrels who feed at our bird feeders each day. The nuts are a favorite and we try to ration the amount we set out - otherwise, they would stay and munch all day! Pet Guys has the best price and ships promptly. I like the nut mix as there is no corn filler in there. The squirrels brush aside the corn and it lays under tree for me to scoop up and throw away after a while. The nut delight is gone everyday. Nothing left. They love it. It is an excellent product.

Los Angeles squirrels don't like corn and seed mixes. They love mixes with nuts - lots of nuts, which makes Volkman's mix a special favorite. It's all we can do to keep the bags in stock for our little band of 4 or 5 daily visitors. The only problem is availability. Volkman's was out of stock all over for a while. Thanks to Pet Guys for getting some in.

Purchased to give a more balanced diet to the 7 wild squirrels that enjoy munching on my roasted peanuts. They loved this mix from day 1, except the pistachios, which they won’t touch. The quality of the mix is excellent and I intend to buy it again.

I Rehab Raccoons, Opossums and Squirrels and this nut mixture is a favorite treat for all of them.

I put up a squirrel feeder so those sneaky squirrels would stay off our bird feeders. I tried several different squirrel food mixes but they all had shelled nuts and made a BIG mess. The Volkman mix, all nuts and no shells, is good for the squirrels and NO MESS!

This squirrel mix is Absolutely AMAZING!!

I admit, we've gone overboard for entertainment during the pandemic - like buying premium squirrel treats. It's better than TV. This stuff is awesome - large pieces if not whole premium nuts. The critters actually knock on the window and ask for it! We dish it out a little at a time and only when they ask. 4lb bag lasted us about 4 months with a steady stream of visitors. I wish I could attach a picture. LOL I'm really glad I found Pet Guys and will order again.

I bought this mix trying to get the perfect blend for the squirrels. This was a great choice.

Actually started a brawl over this. I’d place a cup full off side of porch . First there was a family of 4 coming by then a few days later it was like a gang fight out there - 7 squirrels chasing the other 3 so it’s gotta be good!

I didn't want a feeder that hangs off a tree and this was exactly what I was looking for.

This mix is a variety of nut meats, ie. walnuts, pistachios, almonds, hazelnuts, Brazil nuts, pecans. It is fully consumed by the squirrels and the nut-eating birds. Most of the time it is easy to handle and visually clean. The mix changes a bit with the seasonal availability of the nuts. On occasion there can be dust.
